Job Posting – Customer Service Specialist
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Customer Service Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for Authority customers and performs a variety of administrative functions supporting customer accounts, payments, records, and daily office operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service to residents, businesses, contractors, and municipal representatives.
- Process customer inquiries related to sewer service, billing, payments, and account information.
- Receive and process cash receipts, checks, electronic payments, and other customer transactions.
- Maintain customer account records and assist with account updates.
- Assist customers with billing questions and coordinate resolution of account issues.
- Process correspondence, forms, reports, and general office documentation.
- Assist with telephone, email, and walk-in customer communications.
- Provide administrative support to Authority staff and departments.
- Provide backup support for billing, accounting, sewer applications, and other administrative functions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public and Authority stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Salary Range:
$50,000–$60,000 annually
